My name is Jessica Irwin. I’m a writer and photographer and most of all a world traveling dream chaser who refuses to believe growing up means conforming to the status quo.
This blog is my journey from a prison of conformity to a life that is boundless and free.
What does that mean? A few things:
- Boundless travel – actually moving your body beyond boundaries. Finding the blend of freedom and stability that will allow you to cross borders, explore the world, expand your horizons, and rediscover the beauty of life in the process.
- Boundless purpose – following your life’s calling to pursue the work you were made to do. No WTFMondays or TGIFridays or OMG-is-it-five-o’clock-yet? Because, you know, you’ll actually like your work.
- Boundless growth – because by growing we break free. Like tree roots popping out of a concrete sidewalk, what grows cannot be confined. If we grow, we can jump out of the hamster wheel that takes us nowhere, we can break free of the vicious cycle of school-work-retire-die, we can actually become the people we always knew we could be.
If you’ve ever wondered whether it’s possible to live such a life, then this blog is for you.
Whether you’re a cynic or a seeker of similar things, I invite you to follow me on my journey. I hope it encourages you, inspires you, entertains you, and maybe even gives you that friendly nudge to start trading in a life you hate for a life you love.
I publish something here once a week. If you’d like to get a notification of new posts by email, just enter your info at the top of the right-hand side of this page where it says “Subscribe here.”
And if you want to get in touch, you can always email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’m a real person, and if you are too I’ll write you back! Let’s be friends.
